Public Hearing Notice West Stockbridge Planning Board The West Stockbridge planning board will hold a public hearing pursuant to MA g.l. c.40a, s.5 on February 6, 2017 at 7:15 pm at the Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to provide interested parties with the opportunity to comment on proposed changes to the West Stockbrige zoning by-laws. The proposed changes include: 1) change of the commercial district boundary to incorporate portions of the RD zoning district on the east side of main street into the commercial district 2) creation of a "village center overlay district" (VCOD) within the commercial district to provide new dimensional requirements within the VCOD and to allow other new requirements that are specific to the VCOD. 3) to allow mixed use in the commercial district 4) to provide new parking regulations applicable to all districts.
