Town of Sandisfield Board of Selectmen Notice of a Public Hearing Pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L.c. 30A, 20, and the Governor's March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, which has since been extended, this public hearing of the Board of Selectmen will be conducted via remote participation. LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE 2020 MOHAWK WOODLAND PARTNERSHIP CARBON STORAGE AND RESILIENCY PROJECT The Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) is working with the Town of Adams under funding from a Municipal Vulnerability Grant (MVP) from the Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs (EEA) to identify forest management practices for implementation that will increase carbon storage and resiliency of forests to mitigate the effects of climate change such as changing precipitation, increased fire risk, invasive insects and plants, and decreased snowpack. BRPC is seeking a qualified Consulting Team to develop recommendations for a Pilot Program to increase Best Management Practices for Carbon Storage and Resiliency.
